Renita Ann
Scott
August 6, 1967 – November 28, 2025
With profound love and heartfelt remembrance, the family of Renita Ann Scott, age 58, announces her peaceful passing. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, Renita lived a life full of music, devotion, and deep family ties. On October 19, 1984, she married her soulmate, George Scott III, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, joy, and partnership.
Renita was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sharon Bowles, her beloved husband George Scott III, and her sister Angela Letourneau. Though she faced great loss, she carried her family's strength and spirit forward with grace.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Shara "Nikki" Bledsoe (Anthony), Cassie Scott, and George "Frankie" Scott IV; her grandchildren, Christopher Guerrero, Desirae Bledsoe, Hannah Bledsoe, Keaton Bledsoe, William Speck, and Kenzlei Phillips; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Ma'Kari Bledsoe, Armani Bledsoe, and Greyson McKee, along with many other family members who adored her.
Renita was known by many for her incredible talent and vibrant spirit as the lead of her country band, Renita Ann's Wild Ride. Touring across several surrounding states, she brought joy, music, and unforgettable memories to all who heard her. Yet, for all her musical success and adventures, nothing meant more to her than family. She spent most of her time surrounded by the people she loved, and her happiest moments were those shared with them.
At this time, the family will hold a private ceremony followed by cremation, honoring Renita's life with the closeness and love she valued so deeply.
Renita leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, music, and unwavering devotion. Her warmth will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will forever be a gentle, steady light for her family.
May she rest in peace, reunited with those she loved and missed.
