Rex Edward Bennett, II, 71, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026 in his home. He was born to Rex Bennett and Antoinette M. Bennett on January 21, 1955 in Hammond, Indiana.

Rex worked in the mill until he was injured. Later, he worked multiple other jobs – he was a car dealer (also a master mechanic), a bounty hunter, an antique collector, and lastly, a world traveler. He will be sorely missed.

Rex is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Moore; adopted son, Sonny Bennett; step-sons, Nick Cochrum and Mike Cochrum; four estranged daughters; and multiple grandchildren.
