Richard Lee Mendenhall, 92, of Brazil, passed away Friday November 11, 2022 in Gibson Family Hospice Center. He was a retired mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. He was born October 10, 1930 in Hazel Park, Michigan to Aaron Richard and Helen Elizabeth (Nichol) Mendenhall. Richard is survived by his children, Richard Minniear, Barbara Siegelin, Donna Price, Karen Miller (James), Sara Gilbert, Timothy Mendenhall, Paul Mendenhall (Cindy), Edward Mendenhall (Marcia), Belinda Madison (Dale), Aaron Mendenhall (Krista), Jim Mendenhall (Marilyn), and Thomas Mendenhall; sisters, Sue Hill and Elaine Handley; brother, George Mendenhall and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Ann (Mitchell) Mendenhall, who died April 12, 2013. Richard proudly served our country during the Korean War in the US Navy. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witness in Brazil. Richard was a devoted father to many children and he touched many lives.
