Robert Eugene Mullis, age 63, of Bowling Green, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born July 21, 1963 in Los Angeles, California to Robert Delano Mullis and Dorothy Elaine Parrish. Robert spent most of his life in construction and was well known for his carpentry skills.

Robert loved wood working and spending time outdoors. He had a very upbeat personality and loved to make people laugh. He was always there to lend a helping hand when needed or advice on how to tackle a tough job.

Robert is survived by his children: Evelyn (Michael) Baldock, Amanda (Ed) Westgate, Bobby Mullis, Ashly (Mike) Dockins, Emily Mullis, Brandon Mullis, and Alicia Mullis; 36 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan Funeral Home in Terre Haute, Indiana to assist with his final expenses.
