Robert Allen Garred, 67, of West Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024.  He was born October 11, 1956, in Terre Haute to Robert H. Garred and Linda England Cooper.  Robert graduated in 1975 from West Vigo High School and was employed at Stran Steel and later at Standard Register until he became disabled due to his MS diagnosis.

Survivors include his sister Pamela Corbin (Dave Elkins), brother Paul Garred, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, former stepdaughter Kenna McClellan, granddaughter Ally Hiatt and her daughter Willow Rose.

Robert was a gentle caring soul who deeply loved his family and many friends.  He enjoyed attending dinners with friends of Standard Register and fellow MS survivors.  Prior to his MS diagnosis he was an avid bowler in many leagues and achieved two 300 perfect scores.

In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no services.  Cremation is entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.  Burial will occur at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
