Robert John Lawrence, 76, of Terre Haute fell asleep in death on June 29, 2024, after a long fight with Kidney Disease.

Robert was born on May 21, 1948 to John and Lorraine Lawrence. After he graduated from High School he took up art classes. He was able to renew his art interest in the last several months before his death. He married and went on to have 5 children and later adopted his wife's nephew. A true testament to his hospitable, generous nature.

He became an Electrical Supply Salesman-known as "Friendly Bob". In his last years, he was known for his passion for painting and preaching. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, he took advantage of his health condition to preach about the wonderful promises found in the Bible to everyone whom he met. (Revelation 21:3,4). He even built his own Bible Literature Display Cart in his private room. He came to love his congregation as family and the Terre Haute congregation well-supported and loved him as well.

Robert is preceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Rinchiuso and her husband Mike, his grandchildren, Michael and Victoria, other family members, and the loving Terre Haute South Congregation Family.
