Robert Joseph McKenzie, 70, of Terre Haute passed away on January 8, 2020 at Clinton Gardens.  He was born on May 18, 1949 to Donald W McKenzie and Leona S Kacmarek-McKenzie.  He is preceded in death by both parents. Surviving Robert is his sister, Donna McKenzie.  Robert was in the graduating class of 1967 at Schulte high School. Robert went on to serve in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne. Afterwards he got his Bachelor's degree from Indiana State University.  He worked as a ground keeper at Terre Haute Regional Airport.  He also served as a bartender at Bohannons.  Working at Bohannons is what he enjoyed the most.  There will be a graveside service for Robert with Military honors on Monday, January 13 at Roselawn Memorial Park starting at 11:00 AM. Reverend Rick Eldred will be officiating.
