Obituary

Robert Lee Pierce of Shelburn Indiana passed away Friday February 14,2025 at 11:23am, Robert passed away at IU Methodist hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born at Mary Sherman Hospital in Sullivan, Indiana on December 8, 1978 to Eathel May (Fisher) Pierce and Dana Lee Pierce.


Robert had a very big heart. He loved so many people and had a very big soft spot for kids, so much so, that he coached Little League Baseball and loved every minute of every practice and game.
Robert loved going to mud bogs, fishing, fires, RC cars, being with friends and family and so much more. Robert also was a big fan of the Tennessee Titans.
Robert had the choice of being a donor and he chose to be, for that he donated his kidneys, liver, and pancreas. Robert's kidneys went to two people, his liver went to someone else and his pancreas went for research. Just because of Robert, three family's got help and got to stay with their loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his sister, JoAnn Pierce of Farmersburg, IN, Fiancé Danielle Schalburg and her sons Caleb Schalburg and Dylan Woodburn of Shelburn, IN, three nephews Ray Harden (Rebecca Haynes) of Merom, IN, Damon Berry of Shelburn, IN, Trever Berry of Shelburn, IN, and a niece Hope Robertson (Mike Stuart) of Sullivan, IN, and four great-nephews, an three great-nieces, and many nieces and nephews that he claimed.
The family has chosen cremation, and there will be a Celebration of Life for him March 1st, 2025 at Shelburn Community Building from 1pm to 6pm with another one in the spring.
