Robert Alan White, 70, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday January 13, 2019 at 9:06 am in his residence. Robert retired after 35 years with Indiana State University. He was born July 26, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH to Harold A. White and Yvonne (Atchison) White. Robert is survived by his sons, Chad White and Christopher White; a daughter, Christina Haas (Jeff Glasgow); grandchildren, Alyssa White, Keenan Yates, and Arianna Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard White. Robert was proud of his Chippewa heritage and he loved to collect Indian items.He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a hard worker and an amazing father who loved his family and his many friends. Also as a youth he loved to go "clamming" with his brother. Per Robert's request, cremation has been chosen with burial at a later date next to his brother. Samaritan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
