Roberta Sue McKenzie, 83, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026. She was born to Charles McKenzi and Lucille (Shaw) McKenzie on July 26, 1942 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Roberta enjoyed coloring and coloring books. She had a bay window in her home that she loved to watch birds, rabbits, and squirrels from. Roberta also was an avid rose bush gardener.

Roberta is preceded in death by both of her parents; her late husband, Robert Thompson; and his brothers, James McKenzie and John McKenzie.

Roberta is survived by her only child, daughter, Pamela McKenzie (Charles Keeton); siblings, Mary Jonne McKenzie and Cindy Gallion (John); grandchildren, Chadwick McKenzie, Dave McKenzie, Ayanna Relford, and Soloman Relford; great-grandchildren, Violet Relford, Ryan Relford, Rylee McKenzie, and Lillian McKenzie.

Visitation for Roberta will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm at Samaritan Funeral Home. Service will begin at 1 pm with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
