Roger Dale Fennell, 68, of Terre Haute passed away at Terre Haute Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 4, 2024.  He was born in Terre Haute to Henry Fennell and Eva McCusky Fennell.  Roger worked for Gartland Foundry for 38 years.  At one time he also worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Vigo County.  He loved hunting, fishing, driving through the park, spending time in his workshop.  Roger was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Roger is survived by his son Michael Fennell (Cheryl), Christina Fennell (fiancé James Cooper, Jr.), four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, adopted siblings Monica Hill, Cindy Knoll, and James Knoll, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by sister-in-law Cheryl Belcher and brother- in-law Steve Perry who have been very helpful to Roger and his family.  Roger was preceded in death by his parents his wife, Debra Ann Fennell, brothers Henry Keith, and Randy.

A private graveside will be held.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Samaritan Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
