Ronald "Ron" Lee Romine, 80, Passed away December 23, 2023, at his home in Clay City after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Sullivan, Indiana on October 3, 1943, to the late Cecil and Anna Romine. Ron was a man of many talents, his last job before officially retiring was at USF Glen Moore in Brazil, IN as a diesel mechanic. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with his animals. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, great grandkids, as well as his many friends and other family. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sons Timothy Romine and James Welch, his brother Cecil "Gene" Romine, sister Myrna Romine Strehl, as well as special friend Kenneth "Kenny" White. Survivors include sons Kenny Romine, Paul Romine of Bedford, IN, daughters Rhonda Tuggle (Jim) of Bloomington, In, and Kathy Bevis (Anthony) of Brazil, IN, brother Frank Romine (Betty) of Dubois, IN sister Linda Romine Keith of Bartow, FL as well as many, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also, many very special friends.

A celebration of life for Ron will be held at a later date. Samaritan Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
