Roy Cooksey Jr., 63, of Brazil, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. While at IU Methodist Hospital. Roy was born December 16, 1958 in Clay County, Indiana the son of Roy and Mae Cooksey (Sutherland). Roy spent his time working as a mechanic for himself which was his passion. He loved spending time with family and friends. Roy didn't know a stranger he would help everyone. Roy was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Roy was preceded in death by his father Roy Cooksey, mother Mae Cooksey, and siblings, Arlie Cooksey, Virgil Cooksey, Mary Wyatt (Cooksey), and Gary Cooksey.

He is survived by his daughters; Tammie Fagg (Billy), Brittany Brown (Jason), Joseiya Cooksey (Chelsey); brothers, Harry Cooksey (Pam), Cletus Cooksey (Beth),; sister, Margart Grigsby (Cooksey), Linda Taylor (Cooksey) (George); grandkids, Jamie Fagg, James Fagg, Dayton Fagg, Caroline Cooksey, Joseiya Cooksey Jr, Robert Lee Cooksey, Jaxson; great grandkids, Aubree Fagg, Carter Fagg, Jasper Fagg. He also had several nieces and nephews.

Roy was cremated as he wished and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date and time.
