Roy M. Milner, Sr., 71 of Terre Haute, passed away at 8:45 PM on Monday, June 27, 2016 in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on June 18, 1945 to Charles Milner and Lolla Hathaway Milner. Roy was a member of Laborers Union Local # 204 and enjoyed woodworking, hunting, & fishing. He is survived by his wife Sharon Farkas Milner, and their four children; Roy M. Milner, Jr., Greg A. Milner ( wife Neallean), Christy Milner-Westberry, and Michael Milner. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles Milner and Donald Milner, and one sister, Mary Ann Nichols, as well as 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Rosemae Thompson. Funeral services will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Tim Fagg officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 1, 2016 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM in Samaritan Funeral Home.
