Rufus Eugene McGee, Jr., 68, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026. He was born on June 9, 1958, in Terre Haute to Rufus McGee, Sr. and Marcella Montgomery McGee. His free spirit and sense of humor will be missed by all those that knew him.

Rufus is survived by his daughter Iris McGee, his grandchildren, brother Charles Richard McGee (Brenda) and sister Jo Ann Davis, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Barbara, Karen, Saundra, Royale, and Terry.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Samaritan Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
