Russell
Bowen
April 1, 1965 – January 2, 2024
Russell Bowen, 58, of Terre Haute, died in his residence peacefully in his sleep on January 2, 2024.
Russell was born in Mason, Michigan on April 1, 1965, to his Mother Marcella Johnson, and Father Russell Bowen who he has finally reunited with in Heaven. Russell was retired and doing what he loved most in life, whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.
He is survived by his three children: two sons, Russell Bowen Jr. and Charles Coleman and daughter Mistie Bowen, his Pooh Bear. Russell had 6 grandchildren: Nevaeh Williams, Gavyn Brown, Harper Coleman, Jeremiah Coleman, Gage Danforth, and Quincie Bellegante. He is also survived by his three brothers Todd Bowen, Craige Bowen and Gerald O'Dell and several nephews and nieces that he loved dearly.
Russell was known for being a great Father and Grandpa. He was always known for being the grandpa who would sit on the floor and play with his grandchildren any chance he could get. He was a child at heart. Russell was always a great teacher, and a best friend to those who he held close in his life. Russell was the kind of person who had no filter, and always said the things that needed to be said when no one else would say them. You could always count on him being too honest.
Russell had a great love for the ocean, that's where he felt the most peace. Most of all, Russell's favorite thing to do was game out on Fortnite and get baked. The one thing everyone will miss the most, Russell's infectious laughter and the love he showed to his loved ones.
Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
