Russell Lee "Rusty" Frakes, 58, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021.  He was born January 6, 1963 and was adopted at age two by Kenneth and Joy Frakes.  He was given a loving home and family.

Rusty is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Joy Frakes, and one half brother, Michael Pierce.  He is survived by three sisters, Jean Ridge (Steve), Doreen Ridge (Dick), and Melinda Ridge (Jack), half brothers Alvin (Bobbi Jo) and Larry Hayne (Thelma), as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

He was loved by all of his family and friends.  In lieu of flowers the family is asking to donate towards cremation costs.  A Celebration of Life will be June 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 15508 South Battlerow Place.  A dinner will follow at 5807 West Cantrell Drive (one of Rusty's favorite things to do, eat).
