Sally Criss lost her valiant fight against ALS on August 1, 2018 at home with her family and friends at her side.  She was born December 28, 1955 to John and Joann Edmondson. She graduated from North Vigo High School in 1974. She worked at Pillsbury and also as a waitress. Full of sass and adventure, she lived life as she wanted. Her love for her family and friends was deep and loyal.  She loved her dogs who were considered her children.  Visit Sally's Fight Against ALS page on Facebook to see her adventures this summer. Sally's husband John and her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Ryan Edmondson (Amanda Raulerson) and Jamie Searcy Dunkel (Craig), one brother Jeff Edmondson (Penny) and two sisters Susan Edmondson and Cathy Allen (Randy), 4 grandchildren  Brayden, Jaylin, Riley and Eva, several nieces and nephews and dear friends Vikki, Becky, Cindy, and Pam.

Services will be on August 4 at Samaritan Funeral Home at 25th and Wabash in Terre Haute. Visitation will be 10 am to 12 noon followed by memorial service then private family graveside services. The family suggests that a donation be made to ALS foundation in Sally's memory in lieu of flowers.
