Sandra Kay Kirby (Swank) went home to rest on Monday, October 4,2021 in Terre Haute, Indiana at the age of 72.

Kay was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on September 19, 1949. From an early age Kay loved music and dancing, and never stopped dancing. Kay lived most of her life in Terre Haute, Indiana and loved attending live local musical events with family and friends.

Kay is preceded in death by her father and mother, Bill and Betty Swank, and brother Gary Swank. She is survived by her children; Bill (Melissa) Kirby, Paul (Amy) Kirby; grandchildren Kelsey (Jacob) Deloach, William (Dakota) Kirby, Maddie Kirby, and great grandchild Beau DeLoach; siblings Susie (Ron) Pruitt, Linda (Dave) Walker, Jim (Connie) Swank, Larry (Denise) Swank; sister-in-law Andrea Swank, as well as many nephews and nieces.

Per Kay's wishes cremation was chosen.  A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Bridge Church located at 1901 8th Avenue, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
