Shirley Bills, 83, passed away on April 19, 2021 at St Vincent Hospital.  She was born on November 2, 1937 to John W. Schmidt Sr. and Elsie Madeline Schmidt.  She is preceded in death by both parents; husband Robert W. Bills and  sister Elsie Schmidt "Babe".   Shirley is survived by her son Robert W. Bills Jr. (Mary); daughters Susan Lawson, Debra Noriega, and Cheryl Mason  brother John Schmidt Jr. "Sonny", as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  Shirley loved her flowers and doing work in the garden.  She enjoyed doing crosswords and other puzzles, as well as watching hummingbirds.  More than anything Shirley loved her family and always taking care of others.  Visitation for Shirley will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 27 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM with funeral services starting at 1:00 PM.  Masks will be required and social distancing should be practiced.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
