Shirley Jean Mooney Crock passed away on Monday, January 31st, 2022. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 4, 1943, to Dallas and Louise Mooney. She graduated from Glenn High School in Terre Haute, Indiana. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Joseph Crock, while raising two children she became a licensed Beautician and owned her own salon, The Hen's Nest, in Sullivan, Indiana.
Surviving are her two daughters, Terri Williams (Darrell) of Terre Haute and Tracy Winn (Greg) of Florida, a sister Nancy Rudisel of West Terre Haute, two half brothers Jimmy and Harry Lynch of Illinois, one half sister Susan Lynch, one granddaughter Delani Williams (Matthew), two grandsons Jarod Randall and Joseph Randall, son-in-law Rod Randall, special dear nephew Claude "Sandy" Wilson, Brent "Nicol" Rudisel, and many more nieces and nephews, and special friend Jill McGill.
Proceeded in death are her parents, her husband, two brothers Dallas "Buddy" Mooney and Richard "Mickey" Mooney and a sister Helen "Snooky" Milan.
Per her wishes, there will be no services and cremation will take place at Samaritan Funeral Home. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.samaritanfunerals.com
Her daughter Terri would like to give special thanks to Heartland Hospice and her Nurse Penny and Nurse Dawn.
