Sonja Davila, 44, of Terre Haute passed away March 25, 2024, in the loving arms of her husband of 27 years, Keith Terstegge. She was born August 10, 1979, to Rick Johnson and Brenda Davila. She was preceded in death by her loving grandma Thelma Johnson, uncle Fred Johnson, and brother David Davila.

Sonja is survived by her parents Brenda Davila of Terre Haute, Rick (Heidi) Johnson of Danville, IL; her husband and caregiver Keith Terstegge; three beautiful daughters Nicole Davila (Mario), Shianna Terstegge (Quincy) and Kendra Terstegge (Dustin) all of Terre Haute; four beautiful granddaughters Zarionna, Zayleigh, Zevaeha and Zelilah; siblings Jason Davila of Terre Haute, Eva Gillespie (Troy) of Russville, IL, Shawn Casey (Beth) of Danville, IL, Lucy Evans (Terry) of Lafayette, IN; and many nieces and nephews.

Sonja was a proud wife, mother, and nana. She was her family's rock. She enjoyed being with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Sonja was excitedly awaiting the arrival of her grandsons Asher, Voncere, and Keegan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
