Stacie "Pete" Thomas Stevens, Jr., 61, of Sullivan, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 in his home alongside his beloved dog, Dozer. He was born on March 14, 1965 in Terre Haute to Stacie Thomas Stevens, Sr. and Lana Stevens, raised by Thomas W. Stevens and Eloise I. (Wagle) Stevens.

Pete loved to ride his motorcycle and traveling. He was an avid Colts fan and loved his dogs.  Pete loved his family, but especially his grandson, Xavier, more than anything. He will be truly missed.

Pete is preceded in death by Stacie Thomas Stevens, Sr.; his loving wife, Christine (Mason) Stevens; brothers, Raymond Stevens, Charles Stevens, and John Stevens; brother-in-law, Deb Watson; sister-in-law, and his loyal companion, Dozer.

Pete is survived by Lana Stevens; son, Dustin Wheeler; grandson, Xavier, son of Sarah; siblings, Violet Watson, Nora Banta (Glen), Wanda Haney (Steve), J.C., Dora Lee, Johnny Ray, Rainey Sue, and Tommy John; sister-in-law, Margaret Stevens; special niece, Veronica Johnson (Keith); special nephew, Chris Stevens; uncle, Charles Cooley; and many other nieces and nephews.
