Stephanie K. Nelson, 79, of Clay City, Indiana passed away Monday June 15, 2026 in Gibson Family Hospice Center. She was born February 27, 1947 in Linton, Indiana to Stephen and Margaret June (Winters) Gall. Stephanie is survived by her daughter, Paula Eisler; significant other, Terre Leohr; stepdaughter, Amy Jo Harrison (Dale); stepson, Anthony Leohr (Diana); brother, Steve Gall (Rogelia); grandchildren, Kenneth Paul Eisler (Mandi), Cody Leohr (Quincie), and Caitlyn Leohr and great-grandchildren, Wren Phillip Eisler, Watson Paul Eisler, Emma Beth Leohr, and Ava Marie Leohr. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Kenneth Paul Nelson and son-in-law, Stephen Eisler. Stephanie was a very caring person who spent her entire life caring for others and will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life for Stephanie will be held on Saturday, June 20th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Free Mthodist Church, 901 White Street Clay City, IN.  There will be a meal to follow.
