Stephen Hamill Lee, Sr., 52, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at his home surrounded by his beloved family and friends.  He was born in St. Louis on September 23, 1971, to Charles Lee and Barbara Hamill Lee.  Stephen was a United States Navy veteran and served on the USS Saratoga.  He was a very hard-working chef and was employed at the Saratoga, the Landing, Zamberletti's, and Edibles Catering to name a few.  Stephen was an avid Colts fan and enjoyed going to the games with his sons.  He also enjoyed golf, playing pool, going to the Casino to play Blackjack, and spending time with friends.  Stephen will be missed greatly by family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Stephen H. Lee, Jr. and Zachary Lee, the mother of his children Jamie Lee, his parents Charles and Barbara Lee, sister Amy Lee, brother Tad Lee and his wife, three nieces and one nephew, as well as many close friends.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the phenomenal care given to Stephen by his friend and VNA Hospice.  In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Stephen can be made to VNA Hospice.  Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
