Tammi Dee Tackett 52, of Carlisle passed away on May 24, 2023.  She was born September 15, 1970 to Kermit "Butch" and Cathy (Clark) Tackett in Linton, IN.  Tammi loved reading and being outdoors, she enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and camping.  She was also a crafter and was passionate about decorating.  Her children were her greatest treasures.  She loved her family and spending time with them.  She was preceded in death by her by her parents; sister Kristi Tackett; brother Tracy Tackett; grandchildren Liam and Maison Tomey along with nieces Casey L. McCammon and Shelbey Tackett.  She is survived by her children Sommer Grimes (Zac Tomey), Santana Grimes, and Levi Tackett; grandchildren Draven Power, Kayde Reeves, Ellis Tomey, and Nashton Reeves; sisters Cara Meng (John), and Samantha Miller (Jeff); Special friend Danny Grimes; nieces and nephews Whitney Sexton (Brent), Sarah Maak (James), Megan Oquendo (Jonathan), Connor Tackett, Tarah Knowles, Rachel Shields, Bailey Thompson (Ryan), Johnathan Shields, Josie Shields, and Kegan Meng, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
