Obituary

Tammy Sue (Coble) Crowell, born July 15, 1958, passed away peacefully at her home in Montezuma on July 3, 2026.

Tammy dedicated her life to cooking, sharing her talent with many over the years. She worked at Gray Brothers Cafe in Mooresville for many years and later at Joe's, where she eventually retired. Tammy was cherished by her friends and family, finding joy in listening to music and spending time with her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Coble, her mother, Frances Coble of Indianapolis, her infant sister Brenda Coble, her brother Roco Coble of Indianapolis, her brother Rick Coble of Camby, her sister Kim Allen of Greenwood, and a granddaughter, Breanna Straughn.

Tammy is survived by her husband, James Crowell of Montezuma, whom she married on June 12, 1999. She also leaves behind her daughters: Nickel Wrightsman (David Maldonado) of Greencastle, IN; Adrian Evens (Che) of Camby, IN; and Amber Butcher.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Todd Wrightsman, Jaylynn Wrightsman, Sierra McCullen, Cameron (Jesse) Vigil, Hannah McKinney, Caleb McKinney, Bailey Straughn (Chris) Tobin, Gabrielle Straughn, Issac Straughn, Elijah Williamson, and Emma Burton. Her great-grandchildren include Bionca, Bella, Braelynn, Aleck, and Dayton.

Tammy's cremations will be interred at a later date in Mooresville Cemetery. Her warmth and kindness will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
