Terry J. King, 66, of Terre Haute passed away at home on Thursday, February 2, 2023, surrounded by his beloved family.  He was born February 26, 1956 in Terre Haute to Virgil King and Frances Warren King.  Terry worked as a steel worker for Columbia Home products for 17 years before retiring in 2015.  He then went on to work as a security guard for Securitas.  Terry was a member of the Terre Haute First Baptist Church.  He enjoyed bowling with the family and was an avid animal lover. Most of all he was a family man.  His children and grandchildren were his biggest accomplishment and greatest joy.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lois King, son Jeremy King (Raquel) of Washington state, daughter Danielle Gayso (Adam) grandchildren Ava Gayso and Nicholi Karneke, brother Ron King (Marilyn) of North Carolina, sister Sandra Hargis (Phil) of Indianapolis, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Randy King and sister Linda King.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Terre Haute First Baptist Church, located at 4701 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
