Terry Lynn Thompson, 66, of Poland, IN passed away October 10, 2022.  He was born in Mishawaka, IN on May 25, 1956 to George H. Thompson and Shella Jo Belcher Thompson.  Terry was preceded in death by his father; brother George C. Thompson; nephew Joshua Thompson and Niece Kaylee Gilliland.  He is survived by his wife Jennifer Pelke Thompson and their daughter Alexis Renee Thompson. Also surviving Terry is his mother;  brother Steven D. Thompson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Terry served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps.  He spent many years of his life on a horse farm, working with Tennessee Walking Horses.  He was an avid sports fan.  Terry had a passion for umpiring ball games; he enjoyed working with the kids.  Terry also loved spending time with his family.  Visitation for Terry will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  Military honors will start at 1:00 PM with friends and family members sharing stories of Terry following.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St Jude's in his memory.
