Theresa Turner, 61, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday January 29, 2023 in St. Vincent's Hospital. She was born January 5, 1962 in Chicago to Lincoln and Lorene (Peters) Hagy. Theresa is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Turner, whom she's been with for over 44 years; daughter, Lorene Benefiel (Jack); son, Jerry Turner, Jr.; sisters, Emmajean Baker, Donna White, Lilly Bonner, Deborah Hamilton, and Angela Hagy; grandchildren, Carson Turner, Josie Benefiel, and Memphis Turner and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Florine Ervin and Brenda Hagy; brothers, Carl Anthony Hagy and Lincoln Hagy, Jr. Theresa was a long-time, active member of Union Christian Church, where she was active in many groups. She was also a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother was like a mother to many children and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Friday February 3, 2023 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm in Union Christian Church with funeral services starting at 3:00 pm in the church with Pastor Mark Grayless officiating, Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
