Thomas Arlie McBride, Sr., 67, of Terre Haute passed away at his residence on Monday, January 20, 2020.  He was born in Terre Haute on August 17, 1952 to James Arlie McBride and Katherine Griffith McBride.  Tom was a Terre Haute Fire Fighter for many years.  He belonged to the Terre Haute Jaycees and attended Maryland Community Church.  Tom loved taking the kids roller skating and go kart racing.   He enjoyed fishing and was an avid mushroom hunter.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Tom is survived by his daughters Tricia McBride and Katherine McBride (George Kennedy), son Thomas McBride, Jr., twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sister Edie Grayless, and brother James McBride (Connie) and sister-in-law Julie McBride.  He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Ginnie Wrightsman, brothers Anthony Fuconi and Donald McBride, and nephew James Christopher Wrightsman.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 27, 2020 at Samaritan Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Services will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Rick Swan will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in honor of Tom to the Terre Haute Humane Shelter.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
