Timothy John Mason, 66, of Poland, Indiana passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023.  He was born November 4, 1956 in Vigo County to Paul Mason and Hilda Mason Lessard.  Tim was an avid fisherman and gardener.  He was the best mushroom hunter.  Tim loved country music, especially George Jones.  He worked for the last 13 years at Exceptional Living/HutsonWood in Brazil in maintenance.  Tim truly loved the residents there.  He'd do nice things for people to help enrich their lives in some way.  You could find him singing karaoke there and participating in activities along with the residents to bring them joy. Tim always had a joke to tell and loved to make people laugh.  Most of all he adored his family.  He will be missed by so many.

Tim is survived by his beloved companion of 20 years, Laura Monnett, daughter Leslie Mason, grandchildren Lauren and J.P., and several great-grandchildren, brothers Mike Mason (Julie), Ed Mason (Velvet), and Tom Mason; sister Melissa Mason, and aunt Helen Vermillion.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at F.A.C.T.
