Tom J. Mullen, 62, of Marshall, Illinois passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the presence of his loved ones.  He was born September 9, 1960, in Huntington Beach, California to Robert and Kathryn Mullen. Tom served his country in the United States Army as a medic.  He enjoyed fishing and working with wood and loved dogs.  He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by his children Lisa Mullen, Cody Mullen, Rebekah Lyons (Logan), Shelby Virgil, and Ben Mullen; grandchildren Evan Ramsey, Lovelyn Logan, and Lilly Logan; siblings Robin O'Rourke, Penny Veach (Otto), John Mullen (Deb), Sam Mullen (Donna), Paul Mullen (Molly), Chris Mullen, Collette Root Ranallo, and Patty Root Bursley, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Tom is preceded in death by his parents, and two nephews Bobbie Veach and Sean O'Rourke.

The family would like to thank the staff at Twin Lakes Rehab for the care and support given to Tom.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in remembrance of Tom can be made to your local animal shelter.
