Travis Austin Jones, Sr., 37, passed away on August 1, 2024. He was born on October 5, 1986, in Terre Haute to David Jones I and Jane Jones. On July 18, 2009, Travis married Amber (Howard) Jones. He built his own Harley and loved to ride, and he loved drag racing. Most importantly, he made his family a priority to make sure they were always taken care of.

He was survived by his loving wife of 15 years Amber Jones, children Travis A. Jones Jr., Mason T. Bennett (Summer), Kaleb Stephens (Chey), and JesseKay Jones; grandson Greyson Levi Stephens (due October 2024), siblings Tony Jones, Amy Copen, and Angela Vaughn; his mother Jane Jones, Momma Evelyn and Pops Larry, in-laws Allen Howard Sr. and Angela Howard, brother-in-law Allen Howard Jr. (Jessica), sisters-in-law Crystal Thomas and Brentni Lehr (Andrew), best friends Rick Robins and Efren Ramirez, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father David Jones I, brother David Jones II, grandparents Charles and Lucille Hale, brother-in-law Johnny Vaughn, and niece Raya Vaughn.
