Troy Lester Wayne Richards, 78, of Sullivan Indiana, passed away Jan. 24, 2017, at Signature Health Care in Terre Haute.
He was born on January 25, 1938, in Glenwood, AK, to Elmer Richards and Roxie Hoskinson.
Troy is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Oma Richards; his daughter Kelly Richards (Andrew Brown); his grandchildren, Naohmi Richards, Autumn Richards, and Bob Oliver Brown; Several brothers and sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Troy worked as a heavy machine operator and retired from the City of Farmers Branch, TX after 24 years. Troy was a member of Southside gospel in Sullivan. He loved fishing, hiking trails, and spending time with his grandchildren. Cremation has been chosen by the family with a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory. The family would like to thank Signature Healthcare of Terre Haute for the loving care they provided.
