Valerie Gladden, 61, of Terre Haute passed away on September 19, 2020.  She was born on February 13, 1959 to Howard Gladden and Betty Jo Wright-Gladden.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Keith Gladden and Jimmy Gladden, as well as her son Brian Rickard.  Valerie is survived by her daughter Renee Rickard; brothers Scott Gladden (Angie), Mark Gladden (Theresa), Barry Gladden (Terri) , and Paul Gladden (Jennifer); sister Stacey(Max),  grandchildren Matthew Rickard, Dawson Rickard, Joshua Rickard, Jaden Rickard, and John Rickard.  Valerie raised her two children.  She not only loved her children but her grandchildren as well.  There will be a visitation for Valerie at Samaritan Funeral home on Saturday, October 3 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM with celebration of life starting at 1:00 PM.  Pastor Andy Smith will be officiating.
