With sadness we note the passing of Victoria Eve Lowe on September 9th, 2022. Victoria Eve was born on March 4th, 2003 to Chandra Martine Hull and Justin Colt Lowe. She is missed dearly by her parents and her brother, Justin James Lowe, as well as her extended family, friends, and of course, Kiki the cat. Victoria Eve proudly graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 2021 and was beginning her higher education adventure at Indiana State University, pursuing her passion of Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on Software Development. She was extremely kind, sweet, and had an inquisitive mind. She loved learning about new things and exploring varied foods and styles outside the local culture. By age 11 her love of adventurous cuisine could be seen clearly, as the slight, sparkly-eyed Victoria could eat her weight in sushi! During middle school she continued to stretch her wings and undertook the daunting task of learning Korean. Victoria's zest for life could be seen from an early age. Everything she undertook began with passion, whether it was activities like roller-skating or swimming, interests like Dr. Who, Michael Jackson, or BTS, Victoria plunged head-first with such eagerness and joy, it was impossible to ignore her infectious spirit. Victoria's hobbies often turned into accomplishments. She loved art and creating emotional expressions through many mediums. In 2009 her art was selected to be displayed in the SWOPE Art Museum. 2014 saw Victoria as runner-up in the Rosedale Strawberry Queen and Princess Pageant. She also joined the cheer squad at Rosedale Elementary School and enlivened each event with her joyful cheering. Some of Victoria's favorite times were spent at the beach, camping, or gatherings with family. Each Halloween was better than the last, her costume always carefully planned and full of detail. Her energy, brilliant smile, and enthusiasm will keep her anchored in the minds of all who knew her. She is dearly missed but will never be forgotten. Please be welcome on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at the DeBaun Springhill Chapel. Victoria's family and friends will honor her life and memory with a visitation, then following directly after, a celebration of life and shared memories from 1:00 pm – 3:00pm.
