We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2023, at the age of 66, Vincent Paul Sappingfield of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away. Vince was a very talented contractor and builder who constructed, and renovated several historic properties in Terre Haute, including the Roots Department Store (which was formally Macy's).

He was known by many for his joketelling, which often left people laughing or offended. There was never a dull moment in the presence of his fun-loving spirit. The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.

A celebration of life will be held at Maryvale Apartments Dining Hall on September 30th from 3-5 pm. 3461 St Mary's Road, West Terre Haute, IN, 47885
