Virginia "Ginny" Rose Dragon, 90, of Terre Haute, passed away at 8:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, in her residence surrounded by family. She was born March 14, 1927, in Terre Haute, to Frank Fuson and Mary (Walker) Fuson.
Ginny is survived by her husband of 72 years, David Dragon; sons, Pete Dragon (Jo Anna) of Terre Haute, Jim Dragon (Darinda) of Avon, Bill Dragon (Monica) of Carmel, Dick Dragon (Joy) of Terre Haute and Tim Dragon of Terre Haute; 38 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 10 siblings; and her mother and father.
Ginny and Dave met and found the Lord in 1942 in Greenwood Baptist Church and they have been members for over 30 years at Bible Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., with funeral services at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating.
