Wade C. Davenport, 58, of Worthington, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. He was born on March 26, 1968, in Terre Haute to Owen Davenport, Sr. and Phyllis Cox Davenport. He was a graduate of Terre Haute South High School. Wade was a Cincinnati Reds baseball fan and a collector of baseball memorabilia. His pride and joy was his dog Venus. The world revolved around her. She went everywhere that Wade did. Wade will be sadly missed by family, friends, and his canine companion Venus.

He is survived by his twin sister Debbie Davenport, brother Owen Davenport, Jr. (Janet), sister Kathie Essex (Bill), nephew Scotty Davenport and other beloved nieces and nephews.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Joshue Davenport.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
