Wayne Whorrall, 78, of Ridge Farm, Illinois passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at Paris Healthcare.  He was born September 13, 1943 in Danville, Illinois to Miles Whorrall and Louise Lappin Whorrall.  Wayne was a very skilled musician and played in a band for most of his life.  He sang and played lead guitar.  Wayne was known as a free spirited man.  He loved nature, rode motorcycles, and loved all animals.  He enjoyed raising and caring for his horses throughout his life.  He was a carpet installer by trade and successfully did this as long as he could.  His greatest joy was spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren.

Wayne is survived by his daughter Carla Johnson, son Wayne Alan Whorrall, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Teresa Wasson-Clapp (Charles Henry), and brother Lance Whorrall.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Marilyn Whorrall, sisters Betty Reffett, Arlene Poland, brothers Miles Whorrall, James Whorrall, and Larry Whorrall; and son-in-law Robert Johnson.
