William Lee Aliff, 69, passed away November 5, 2022.  He was born July 13, 1953 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Anna and Joseph Aliff.  He lived in Shelburn, IN with his wife Nancy of 48 years.  He is survived by one sister Valarie June Taylor (Dennis); several nieces and nephews, Jessica, Dennis, Brian, and all of their children were very important to him.  He was married to Nancy Aliff for 48 years, have two children Bridget Yates (Everett Long) and Kelly Yates (James Montgomery Jr.); grandchildren Brandon Lee Zeabart, Maelynn, Rayden (Brianna), James Montgomery III, Sabrina Montgomery (Jacob-Stephens), River Jacob Montgomery-Stephens, Cassidy Montgomery, Madalynn Rae Gibbs, and Haizlynn Grace Gibbs.  William served in the Air Force as a combat medic and worked as an electronic technician for Indiana State Police and he later retired from there.  William liked fishing, cooking, and keeping up with technology.  He was a good father and grandpa to all of his family and also had a sidekick named Dobbie.  He will be honored by a celebration of life at a later date held at the American Legion in Shelburn.
