William "Bill" Roy Lindquist, 79, of Rockville passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024.  He was born July 13, 1945, in Danville, Illinois to Charles Lindquist and Pauline Crumley Lindquist.  Bill worked for many years and retired as a Pipeline for Local Union 157.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and watching Western movies starring John Wayne and Clint Eastwood.  His true joy was spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will be missed by so many.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carolyn Everson Lindquist, sons Ronnie Lindquist (Crissy) and Charles Lindquist (Gennifer), ten grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Tammy Lindquist Shaw.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
