Wilma A. Hutchinson, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Monday April 18, 2016 at 11:03 am in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Wilma had worked at Commercial Solvents and at GlasCol. She was born September 22, 1924 in Terre Haute to Elmer Rector and Rachel (Taylor) Rector. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Rector; a niece, Gail Owens; 3 nephews, Gary Rector (Sally), Barry Rector, and Dave Rector (Connie) and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William "Bill" Hutchinson, brothers, Ray Rector and Melvin Rector and a sister-in-law, Lucille Rector. Wilma was a member of Union Christian Church. She also loved living at Westminster Village where she enjoyed playing Bridge and Euchre and was very much a people person who loved spending time with all of her friends there. Visitation will be Thursday April 21, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Mark Grayless officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later time in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners' Hospital for Children (envelopes will be available at the funeral home).
