Alice Jane (Krummel) McKinney, 89, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Springhill Village of Terre Haute.  She was born to Leo Wilton Krummel and Harriett Elizabeth (Duncan) Krummel in Sullivan, Illinois on November 12, 1936. 

Alice retired from Eastern Illinois University.  She was an accomplished piano player, and gave piano lessons for many years.  She travelled across the United States many times with her husband, and also enjoyed leisurely camping trips.  She spent many hours playing online Solitaire and reading.  She enjoyed playing Dominos with her friends in her later years.  She spoke of her children and grandchildren often.

Alice is preceded in death by both of her parents and her three brothers, John, Richard and Gary.  Alice is survived by her husband, Robert McKinney, two sons, Lyle Dorjahn and Alan Dorjahn and one daughter, Elizabeth (Dorjahn) Ledbetter.  Alice had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also had three step-daughters and a step-son.
