Arlene Bethel Mattox, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday October 26, 2025 in her residence. She was born April 2, 1937 in Somerset, Kentucky to Lester and Marie (Simpson) Taylor. Arlene is survived by her daughter, Laura K. Hull and her husband Tim; son, Vernon Mattox; sisters, Linda Auterson and Shirley Ward; brothers, Norman Taylor, Arliss Taylor, Evan Taylor, Steve Taylor, and Jerry Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Mattox, who died in 2012 and her brothers, Morris Taylor and Carl Taylor. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
