Bonnie Lou Robertson, age 69, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1956, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late Gene and Wanda Horsley.

She is survived by her Daughter, Angel (Gregory) Key; Stepdaughter, Beth (Tara) Ohnesorge; Grandchildren Kayla (Buddy Jr.) Delaney, Haley Mero, Sara Mize, Kelsey Dickens, and Cameron Chapman; Great-Grandchildren, Addison, Audiana, Buddy III, Sidney, Layla and Ruby; Nieces, Tina (Danny) Harris, Ashley Kester, Bailey Horsley, and Abby (Josh) Crouse; Great-Nieces, Olivia Harris, Keeley, and Myaira; Sister-in-Law Nora Horsley, her beloved dog Little Bit, and many more extended family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her Parents,  Brothers, Rick Horsley and Gene Horsley Jr.;  Sister Connie Horsley, Husband Rob Robertson, and her life-long friend Shelly.

Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, mushroom hunting, being outdoors, and visiting the casino. She especially loved traveling to Florida, watching crime shows, browsing yard sales and junk stores, and was a yearly visitor at the Covered Bridge Festival.

Bonnie was known for her cooking and was especially proud of her meatloaf and crab bake. She could make a meal out of anything.

Over the years, Bonnie worked for General Housewares and in many factories in Bloomington, Indiana. She also worked at Canyon Inn at McCormick’s Creek State Park in Spencer IN, where she lived for many years. She lived a full and adventurous life, always ready with a smile and remembered for her contagious laugh.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by her Family, Friends, and all who knew her. Her wishes were to be cremated. We will celebrate her life with a dinner for all of her friends and family to come together and share memories. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at the Krietenstein Post 104 American Legion from 4pm-6pm.
