Bridget Elaine Yates, 53, of Shelburn lost her long-fought battle with cancer on Friday, December 6, 2024.  She was born February 1, 1971, in Sullivan to Kenneth Dale Yates and Nancy Yvonne Jenkins Aliff.  Bridget never met a stranger and loved meeting people.  She was a very caring person, especially when it came to her mother.  Bridget loved to dance and enjoyed music.  Most of all, time with her family, especially the grandchildren, brought her so much happiness. 

Bridget is survived by her mother, Nancy Aliff, son Brandon Zeabart (Brianna Sappingfield), grandchildren Maelynn Zeabart, Rayden Zeabart, Justin Zeabart, Tucker Zeabart, and Skylar Zeabart; sister Kelly Yates (James Montgomery, Jr.), nieces and nephews James Montgomery III, Sabrina Montgomery (Jacob Stephens), and Cassidy Montgomery (Jayton Neal), and great nieces and nephews River Montgomery-Stephens, Salem Neal, Madalynn Gibbs, Haizy Gibbs, and Wednesday Neal.  She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Yates and stepfather William “Bill” Aliff.
