Carl Frederick Bedwell, 83, passed away on April 3, 2025. He was born on May 13, 1941, in Indianapolis to Russell and Gaynelle Bedwell. Carl married Susie (Dobbs) Bedwell on August 29, 1965.
Carl enjoyed woodworking, listening to music, and going to Burger King with his coffee buddies. His biggest joy was spending time with his family.
Carl was known for his kindness; he was always trying to help anyone he encountered. He was truly loved by many and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years; daughters Kimberlie Rhodes (Scott) and Kristie Rudd (Brad); siblings Jonell Hughes (Woody) and Kenneth Bedwell; grandchildren Vittoria Bloodworth (Cray), Allison Miller (Derrek), Joshua Rudd, and Karlie Rudd; great-grandchildren Alexander, Lenna, George, Beckam, and Louie; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Princess. 
He is preceded in death by both parents and sister-in-law Becky Bedwell.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Namburi, Dr. Reddy, Wyndmoor Assisted Living, and Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care for all the wonderful care he has received throughout his life.
A visitation will be held on April 6, 2025, from 1 pm to 3 pm at Samaritan Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 3 pm. A private burial will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com
