Carolyn Marie Maben also known as “Carol” or “Angel” died of natural causes on September 7, 2021, at 11:30 p.m. Eastern. She was 63 years old on the date of her death. She lived in Terre Haute, Indiana and was born to the late Richard and Alice Booth on September 16, 1957 in Los Angeles, California.
She was survived by her four children Shantae Bennett (Daly) of California, Sheldon Daly of Indiana, Sean Maben of Indiana and Steven (wife Ashley) Maben of Oregon, as well as her brother Richard (wife Sue) Booth of Oregon, her sister Sharon (husband Robert) Taylor of Ohio and brother Robert Booth of Ohio. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and her cat Cali.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved attending wrestling matches and playing Yahtzee. She collected angels and photo albums. She was quoted as saying: "When I die, I'd like to come back as a queen." She was a queen in the eyes of her family, and she will be missed.
A Celebration of Life memorial will be held in Terre Haute, Indiana on September 16, 2021. An “Ashes at Sea” memorial will be held in Charleston, Oregon on September 25, 2021.
